By creating an account or using Gigga, you agree to these terms. Gigga is currently a beta campus marketplace that helps students discover tasks, services, businesses and products.

Accounts and student information

Provide accurate information and use your own identity. Do not impersonate another person, create accounts to evade restrictions, or misuse another student’s details. Private verification information must not be harvested, published or used outside the purpose for which Gigga reveals it.

What you can post

You are responsible for what you post, offer, buy, sell or agree to do. Do not use Gigga for unlawful goods or services, fraud, harassment, threats, dangerous activity, weapons, controlled drugs, sexual services, account or credential renting, academic cheating, exam misconduct, intellectual-property infringement, or activity that violates university rules or applicable law.

Tasks and agreements

A posted Gigga is an offer to connect with another user. The task description, reward, deadline and requirements should be truthful. Applicants must not claim skills they do not have. Selection creates an assignment between the participants, subject to the task details and these terms.

Payments during beta

Unless a screen explicitly says Gigga is processing a particular payment, users arrange payment between themselves during the free beta. Do not interpret a Gigga status as a guarantee that money is held in escrow. When integrated payment features are enabled, the payment provider’s terms and the rules shown at checkout will also apply.

Marketplace purchases

Sellers are responsible for accurate product descriptions, lawful goods, fulfilment and any seller promises. Buyers should inspect relevant details before paying. Gigga may remove listings or restrict accounts where there is evidence of fraud, prohibited activity or repeated abuse.

Disputes and moderation

Gigga may review task records, submissions, messages and transaction references needed to investigate a report. We may restrict, suspend or remove content or accounts to protect users or the service. Gigga does not guarantee that every dispute can be resolved or every loss recovered.

Content

Only upload content you own or have permission to use. You keep ownership of your content, while giving Gigga permission to display and process it as needed to operate the service.

Service availability

Gigga is a beta product and features may change, fail or be unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a specific number of jobs, sales or earnings.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date or additional notice where appropriate.
